We love these news stories that appear around the time of a game launch. World renowned boxing manager and coach John Rooney Jnr has installed a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade machine at his London gym to help his fighters improve reflexes and hand-eye coordination.
John Rooney Jr, the gym’s owner, said: “ I know a number of boxers who play fighting games like Tekken and I was surprised to see a noticeable improvement in their reflexes and hand-eye coordination.”
We’re expecting the papers to start running stories about how Tekken is teaching kids to beat each other up, but until then we think this is a pretty cool use for a video game.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is out on 14th September for PS3 and 360.
