Sega have listened to the fans and have finally announced the HD version of Sega Saturn classic NiGHTS Into Dreams for PSN, Xbox Live Arcade and PC via Steam.
The game hasn’t got a release date as yet, but Sega have already released a whole bunch of pictures on their blog to whet the appetite of fans.
For me, NiGHTS was one of the games I’ve long wanted to see in HD. While I still have a Saturn which is barely being held together with electrical tape and a copy of the game for it, being able to play it on a new format with enhanced graphics is a dream come true (no pun intended).
“The SEGA Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and NiGHTS into dreams… stands out as one of the most recognizable titles that found a home on the system,” said Chris Olson, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.”
