Nintendo to announce Wii U details on Thursday

Nintendo have placed a placeholder on their site for a ‘Wii U Preview’ on Thursday 13th September at 3pm (UK Time).

With the launch suspected to be in the next few months, we expect this to be a big reveal for prices and dates for their new tablet based console.

But the launch comes just a day after Apple hold their own keynote, which is thought to be for the iPhone 5 announcement.  Will Nintendo be overshadowed by Apple?  We reckon there will be enough interest to satisfy both companies.
