NiGHTS into dreams and Sonic Adventure 2 coming to PSN and XBLA this week

Sega bring 2 more of their classics to digital download with NiGHTS into dreams and Sonic Adventure 2 on PSN tomorrow and XBLA on Friday.

One of the Sega Saturn’s best loved titles, NiGHTS into dreams, will finally be arriving on the current generation machines this week. Ignoring the poor Wii sequel, this will be the first time the game has seen a release since the original title gained so much cult status on the Saturn back in 1996. The game will also come with a forthcoming bonus DLC that contains the classic Christmas NiGHTS (and possibly a warning that it may melt your heart).

Sonic Adventure 2 has already seen a re-release on the Gamecube and actually went on to become the best selling Gamecube game of all time. It was originally released on the Dreamcast to celebrate Sonic’s 10th Anniversary. The Battle mode from the Gamecube will be available as free DLC at a later date.

I’m personally holding out hope that Sega also think about a Vita and 3DS release of NiGHTS, but it looks like it’s only a dream at the moment.
