NiGHTS into dreams and Sonic Adventure 2 come to PS3 and 360 in October

NiGHTS will soon be drawing in (see what I did there? No? Please yourselves) as Sega announce the release date for 2 long awaited Saturn and Dreamcast ports.

Both NiGHTS and Sonic Adventure 2 will arrive on PS3 on October 2 for $9.99/£6.49/€7.99 and on Xbox Live Arcade on October 5 for 800 Microsoft Points.

The other big news is that those purchasing NiGHTS will also get the fantastic spin-off Christmas NiGHTS as well for free. Christmas NiGHTS still gets an airing on my battered old Saturn as a festive ritual each year since I first received it from a magazine cover back in 1996, so it will be great to finally have it on a new format before the old Sega console finally gives up the ghost.

Sonic Fans will also be able to enhance their Sonic Adventure 2 experience with Battle Mode DLC for an additional $3.00 / 240 Microsoft Points.

While we’re all hoping Skies of Arcadia is coming next, I’d love to see the Sonic Team Burning Rangers game get a makeover, along with a few other Saturn classics.
