Hot on the heels of The House Party promotion, Microsoft are gathering up another bunch of game releases under the banner ‘Arcade Next’ which will showcase the first use of the 400 Gamerscore for XBLA games.
According to Major Nelson’s blog, the event starts with what will undoubtedly be one of the XLBA Store’s biggest games of the year; Redlynx’s Trials Evolution for 1200 MS Points.
Following this will be hack and slash game Bloodforge (1200 points) on April 25th, Fable spin-off Fable Heroes (800 points) on May 2nd and surprise entrant Minecraft, arriving on 9th May.
Minecraft will cost a whopping 1600 MS Points, but promises split screen and online multiplayer and unique crafting abilities and should be an excellent title to round up Microsoft’s latest promotion.
